The Weather Situation
The disturbance which became Bertha moved north across the state of Florida yesterday and was very apparent over Cocoa, FL. It moved off the Space Coast of Florida and gained significant convection last night. Heavy rainfall of 2-4" is the main threat from Bertha.

Current tropical weather
As of 8:30 AM EDT Tropical Storm Bertha was centered at 32.7 N / 79.4 W or 30 miles ESE of Charleston, SC. It was moving NW at 9 mph. Top sustained winds are estimated at 45 mph. Pressure was estimated at 1009 hPa (mb).
