Am I correct to assume that Carnival is the best cruiseline to check for a spring break cruise? Are the other cruiselines geared toward the older crowd?

Carnival is known for its fun, laid back atmosphere, so this may be the perfect cruise line for a spring break adventure. Carnival Cruises offers a four- or seven-night spring break cruises to the western Caribbean designed for college students. Travelers must be over 21 on first day of travel or accompanied by a parent or guardian 25 years or older. The four-day tour leaves from Miami, Florida, during March and April and the seven-day cruise departs from Galveston, Texas.

The four day tour departs from Miami and goes to Key West, Florida, Cozumel, Mexico, and returns to Miami. The seven-day tour travels to Montego Bay, Jamaica, Grand Canyon, Cayman Islands, and Cozumel, Mexico. The base prices in 2010 range from $269 for four days to $519 for seven days.
