We recently visited KSC. My daughter reallywanted to see a rocket launch so we drove over from Orlando for the day. Unfortunately, the mission commander gave a "scrub" after many "go's". The classified rocket launched the next day.

The imax space movie was great. There are two different movies. We saw the one on the interational space station. There are bus tours with your package. We did not take the tour since my daugher was so demoralized about not seeing the lauch. There is plenty to spend your day on here including many replicas of rockets to see as well as a space shuttle simulator to ride.

I have been to Huntsville, Alabama where they have a space museum and IMAX theatre. They have replicas of the rockets, but of course no rocket launch like at Canaveral. I would like to go there one day.

There was a rocket launch a KSC last night. It was spectacular! They were launching a new satellite to find planets like Earth.

This is a very great and wonderful visit of the Kennedy Space Center.Where else in the world do history and the future, nature and technology, young and old meet for an unforgettable and inspirational journey through space and time? The Kennedy Space Center has hosted millions of guests from around the world for more than 30 years -- telling the story of how the United States built a space program that launched men to the Moon, orbited satellites that have improved our lives, and sent probes into distant space to solve the mysteries of the cosmos.

No more space shuttles will launch. If your heading to kennedy space center they will of course be launching regular rockets.
