Funny misconception of The Weather Channel being part of CNN not NBC. I believe that a lot of people think that Turner owns The Weather Channel.

Both are in the same town. I can see how CNN and The Weather Channel's ownership has been misconceived.

Yes, that was one of most common questions that I would get when working at The Weather Channnel. "So, what's it like working for Ted Turner". I got that question almost as much as the "What's the weather going to be like at ______".
