Why do local tv people need to talk about tropical storm Lisa? It is near africa. It's not like it's going to affect our weather anytime soon or ever???/

Hurricanes are big business and you know they need to produce commercials to say "we were first".

That's what all of the news commercials say. "you heard it here first" - like my life depended on it. It's just another reason that local news is going in the tank.
