The eye of Henriette is now brushing the southeast tip of the Baja.

Wednesday AM Update
The center of Henriette appears to be just east of La Paz on the Baja. Satellite imagery shows cloud top cooling as Henriette is getting re-energized over the Gulf of California. It may strengthen just a little before making a 2nd landfall on the west coast of Mexico near Los Mochis or a little northwest of there.

Wind and heavy rain with flooding still an issue on the southern Baja until Henriette pulls away. The west coast of Mexico will deal with the same. By Thursday, heavy rain from the system will move into New Mexico and southeast Arizona then eventually into the southern U.S. plains.

Wednesday Late AM Update
The center is nw of Los Mochis over the Gulf of California. Henriette is feeding off the warm waters and is remains a minimal hurricane. The main threat is still flash flooding. It looks like the band down toward Cabo is finally breaking up.

Wednesday Late PM Update

The center of Henriette is now moving inland. Flash flooding will continue to be an issue into northwest Mexico through Thursday. The moisture from Henriette will also enhance thunderstorms from Texas to Arizona on Thursday and eventually the interior U.S.

This will be the last update on Henriette.
