Bill to be classified soon
The Weather Situation
Tropical Depression Two was classified earlier today. Wind shear is lessening this evening and it is likely that TD will become a tropical storm. It poses no threat to land.
Current tropical weather
As of 5:00 PM EDT Tropical Depression 2 was centered at 35.5 N / 72.0 W or about 200 miles east of Cape Hatteras, NC. It was moving NE at 18 mph. Officially top sustained winds are estimated at 35 mph. Pressure was estimated at 1006 hPa (mb).
Tropical Weather Forecast:
There will be a short opportunity for development before this tropical system becomes extratropical SE of Nova Scotia.

Bill (should be) extratropical
The Weather Situation
Bill has lost its tropical characteristics. Rain and wind will move into SE Canada as an extratropical cyclone.
Current tropical weather
As of 5:00 PM EDT Tropical Storm Bill was centered at 41.6 N / 59.6 W or about 290 miles SE of Halifax, Nova Scotia. It was moving NE at 36 mph. Officially top sustained winds are estimated at 60 mph. Pressure was estimated at 998 hPa (mb).

IMO Bill is already an extratropical cyclone.
