Javier weakening
Javier is weakening rapidly over colder water west of the Baja. It will soon lose all tropical characteristics. Deep convection is located south of the broad low level center. On the western coast of the southern Baja the main concern will be enhanced rip currents and wind gusts to tropical storm force (>/= 39 mph). Isolated rainfall of 1-2"+ is also possible over the southern Baja.
