Paulette extratropical

The Weather Situation
Paulette is extratropical. A large area of smoke from the western U.S. fires is clearly visible "following" the hurricane. It is predicted to move south into warmer waters over the next several days. It's possible that Paulette could become subtropical / tropical in the future.

Tuesday Morning Update

Paulette looks weaker again

The Weather Situation
Paulette was renamed a tropical storm. IMO, it is already a depression again as convection has been stripped from the circulation. NHC says it is expected to drift east then move west and weaken. It already looks to have weakened.
