The Weather Situation
Tropical depression was classified at 5 pm edt today. Earlier it was given a small chance for development, but satellite imagery showed that a spin had developed.

Current tropical weather
As of 5:00 PM AST Tropical Depression 10 was centered at 15.9 N / 20.0 W or about 265 miles east of the Cabo Verde Islands. It was moving north at 9 mph. Officially top sustained winds are estimated at 35 mph. Pressure was estimated at 1007 hPa (mb).
