Low east of the Mid-Atlantic
It appears that at least there is a tropical depression well east of the Mid-Atlantic. NHC said the low was producing gale force winds (tropical storm strength). The only question is - Does it have tropical characteristics? It certainly looks that way. In fact it is starting to get sheared again and may (only) be a depression now. I'm not planning on covering this one in detail.... The only concern will be to north Atlantic ships.
