Sara is a slow moving, fairly disorganized system near the north coast of Honduras. Despite this, very heavy rainfall is associated with this tropical cyclone which continues to cause flash flooding and mudslides.

Sara continues to produce flooding rainfall

Sara is north of the northern coast of Honduras and south of Roatan island in the Gulf of Honduras. Banding has improved today with very heavy rainfall, especially in bands offshore of Belize and over the eastern Yucatan of Mexico.

Sara rainfall continues

Sara continues to move slowly and bring catastrophic rainfall. Northern Honduras may have seen over 30 inches of rain from Sara. IR satellite imagery shows the heaviest convection over Belize.
