Re: Global warming
I would assume Kitty will be right unless there is some sort of big change in the weather pattern this winter.

Re: Global warming
There would seem to be something with this global warming or climate change. This is a year "without a winter" in the east. Maybe a few old timers could add their two cents, but it sure seems to be warm recently.

Re: Global warming
It's 6 degrees in Detroit right now. The region is expecting 2-6" of snow. I'm guessing I won't be wearing shorts for a few days.Wild Banshe wrote:There would seem to be something with this global warming or climate change. This is a year "without a winter" in the east. Re: Global warming
I wouldn't mind some of that cold weather. Low temps here in Atlanta has been 55-60 a few days ago. We have had one three days with flurries and about 5 days with thunderstorms. It has been more like spring than winter here in the south.

Hey Rich, what's with the "smackdown" the that George Soros put on some of the weathercasters that I've been reading about?

Sorry that I didn't get to your question sooner rmandel, I have been busy with other projects. You are right about certain weathercasts being singled out. It's free speech, so I don't know why he's trying to clamp down on people with differing viewpoints. I suppose that is an agenda somewhere.... who knows.

Re: Global warming
This topic has been discussed so much that most of the "fun" has been taken out of it.

Re: Global warming
As long as global warming is a political topic it will stay around - boring or now.

Re: Global warming
Uh, if there's global warming why did I read that Antarctica had the largest ice shelf this past winter?

And the mountains of Tennessee had almost 2 feet of snow a few days ago. I know that this is just one storm, but the past few years seem to be colder again.

Re: Global warming
I have heard that it's going to be a cold winter here in North Carolina, but the national weather service doesn't seem to agree. How can two forecasts be so different?
