Oklahoma the best school in the world?

Post by Caribbean Traveler »

Channel 11 here in Atlanta just hired a new chief. In the article it says that he received his education from the best school in the world for meteorology - Oklahoma. I know that Oklahoma is good but Florida State, Penn State and a number of others are pretty good too. It seems to me that the news director is a little over zealous!

Whoever wrote that article was probably not even associated with the news department (I hope).

The one common threat that I see though the news is arrogance. The news people think that they need to feed the masses since we can't understand for ourselves.

I think the media over reported Irene. The winds weren't even that strong. They were making it out to be a huge storm. Sorry about the thread hijack.
