Penn State online classes?
When I was in Knoxville, one of the prospective candidates mentioned that he thought that Penn State was going to build an online meteorology curriculum. This could be a major rival to the Miss. state program. Anyone else hear this too?

If Penn State gets involved, Miss. State will get a run for its money.

They offer a basic set of meteo classes online currently. I am planning on taking several online classes with them this fall while attending a local university for two years before transferring somewhere out of Virginia that offers an actual meteorology program. If they are expanding it then that is fantastic!

There are A LOT of people going back to school for the second time to get a competitive advantage when looking for another job. I'm not sure how much this is helping those looking for jobs, but it is certainly helping the universities!
