Hardest part to get meteorology degree?
I have had this question asked many times, especially with school talks. Meteorology is heavily reliant on math and physics. Before giving up and saying "that's not for me", hard work can pull you through. That's how I made it through. I don't consider myself a math wiz, but I do know how to work hard. You don't know what you can acheive before giving it your best!

That is good advice regardless of what you do in life. Don't give up easily and dont't underestimate what you can do.

That's a tough call. I would say either some of my physics classes or calculus / differential equations classes. A few of the meteorology classes were hard too, but I enjoyed them more.

Thanks Mr. Johnson. I would guess math and physics scares a lot of people away from meteorology!Tropical Hurricane wrote:That's a tough call. I love math and physics, but meteorology isn't a career choice for me.

As I mentioned before to someone else, thats probably a good choice. Meteorology isn't for everyone as a career.

Since weather will always be wrong, why spend the time to go to school for it?
