Official definition of a white Christmas....

Thought that some of you may be curious..... 1 inch of snow on the ground on the 25th. No snow has to be falling.

Yep Richmond, VA had its first white Christmas in years thanks to a big snow from the previous weekend.

It's pretty rare to get a white Christmas in D.C. and Maryland too. Many of them got 2 feet of snow!

What part of eastern NC are you located in if you don't mind me asking. Many folks still had a bit of snow on the ground before the rain washed it away
