T.D. may form near Eastern Dominican.
I was looking at the Atlantic Graphical tropical Weather outlook and they have a vigourous wave that could develop in to a storm. The Meterologist are giving this wave a 60% chance of development over the next 48 hours. Looks like things might start heating up in the Atlantic.

Oops!Sorry, I forgot that Coral Reef's have a gender.
That's okay. Have you last checked we now have Bonnie sailing our great waters of the atlantic. I hope people have been watching closely, especially those in the wake of the storm. One things for sure at least it won't be strong when it does make landfall.

Looks as though as of the 5pm forecast Bonnie is a Tropical Depression but it shows her strengthening in to a Tropical Storm once she makes landfall on the Gulf coast states. One thing is that she won't be a hurricane or a major one at that.

I don't know why the NHC still had it classified as a TS at 2pm. It certainly didn't seem to warrant the status

Maybe the NHC was waiting for the official word from the Hurricane Hunters. Just a guess. I found out Bonnie was T.D. at the 5pm outlook. In any case this is good news for the gulf states, if anything.

Looks like Bonnie lost some steam as she heads towards the gulf coast states. Which is pretty good news for them. I don't think they could handle anything stronger and with the oil spill would makes things a mess in the works.

We abandoned the notion that Bonnie would make landfall as a tropical storm well before NHC. They like to play things safe.

Even though I don't live on the coast, I follow the weather pretty closely. It seems to me that you "make the call" many times about a storm before the hurricane center. Thanks for the forecasts.
