It seems to me that the tv business is like anywhere else. Does the current boss like you. Sharon and Rich were on the ;ate shift before they were layed off too.

I agree. Didn't Sharon retire on her own to take care of her family? I know they helped her make her decision, but I thought she was pretty popular.

She may have retired on her own, but putting someone on the night shift is sending a message.

This is a pretty accurate statement. They put me on some really poor shifts for a long time. I just loved my job and didn't quit like they wanted.

I'm sorry to hear that. I suppose that is modus operandi with most types of businesses. No necessarily the shifts, but trying to drop "hints" to get you to leave.

I doubt that anyone working in SFO as a chief meteorologist is having problems with cash. Now, we don't know anything about her "dragging" her husband across the country. It could have have been fine with him.

It probably was... and that is quite an assumption about her financial position. I'm thinking from the standpoint that he may had to reshift his career to accept the move to Atl. Or are you going to question that again? It is a reasonable thought.

Hi Spike,

I enjoy reading your posts here. Thanks for contributing! I try not to get too involved in the weather channel personal info stuff too much, but Wild Banshe is actually on the correct trail here. Samantha Mohr is now working part time for a station here in Atlanta and her husband has his own business. They are both great people and are doing well.

Thanks, Rich-

My only objection is that I think it is presumptuous to judge anybody's financial position. My wife's aunt lives like a miser and is quite humble due to her faith, but has a portfolio that certainly would suggest otherwise. You never know what people (especially those in the public eye) have to deal with-injury, sickness etc that can impact their career or financials.

That said, I'm glad Ms. Mohr and her husband are happy and doing well in Atlanta.

Right... some people live like millionaires and get foreclosed on and others live with the basics and have a load of cash in the bank. You just never know.
