I noticed that they had their storm vehicle in place and started reporting quickly, unlike other networks.

Yea, I recieved a message from a buddy from the weather channel that was layed off too. He sent an article that totally slammed CNN for not getting the story until the next morning.

I also noticed that CNN did not have very good coverage of the tornado in Missouri at the start. I wonder if anyone "lost their bonus" this year for that one.
