We have a chance of snow tonight, although the worst should be off to our west. Western NC may get 6" or more. I've heard from family that Atlanta had a couple of inches of snow today with it snowing very hard. Personally, I would rather have the sun and warmth!

A few days ago, here in Boston we had about a foot of snow. A big storm, but nothing too much out of the ordinary.

In northeastern Maryland we had about a foot also. Much more uncommon here. We get a lot of smaller storms, but usually not too many that have a foot of snow!

This was a very fun storm to track. I live in Norfolk, VA on the coast. We haven't had a real snow of over an inch or so since 2004. Ive been looking forward to a good snow. The models had fun with this storm. Good ole NAM wanted to give us a ton if I remember correctly. Sadly warm air hung around too long. The third system in the chain gave us a little dusting which isnt too bad. Oh well, there is always next year! Haha

Here is an extended radar clip I uploaded of all the storms over several days. Its a little sluggish at some points, sorry about that. Still looks neat!

Nice job with the loop. I can see the heaviest band set up just southeast of Atlanta where up to 8" fell! I had 3" on the northwest side of town. Only 30 miles farther north and they had zero!
