Finally some cooler weather here

I don't know if anyone has noticed but the humidity has dropped and at least the mornings have been cooler. It still has been hot during the afternoon.

We had a couple mornings in the 50s in the ATL. 54 saturday morning. It has been nice after a long run of temps in the 72-78 range in the morning.

We were lucky in Connecticut last Friday since Earl's impact was minimal, only a little rain. It did cool down into the 60's after a cold front with high winds from the west moved in. The humidity and dew point has been so much better the past few days. We've had an unusually hot summer and even had temps in the 90's back in April!

I guess that cooler weather will turn to cold weather in Connecticut soon? It seems like most of us experienced a hot summer this year.

It doesn't really get cold until late December. Autumn is beautiful here and the leaves begin turning around early October. Our first frost is usually at the end of October.

I have been watching the forecast and it looks like the coolest weather of the season will be here next week! I'm ready for a change from all of this heat!

Its been cool here for a few weeks. Now that fall is here of course we get the 90 degree weather! Haha
