Southern Floods

Post by Skibug » Sun Sep 27, 2009 1:07 pm

It is sort of amazing to see the pictures of the floods that hit the south. The north side of Atlanta had a 500 year flood! 20" of rain in one day. Crazy!

Does anyone really know what a 500 year flood is? Did they borrow the rain gauge reports from the Cherokee tribe to find when the last big flood was :?:
