Saturday Morning Update

T.D. 14 is moving northwestward and only will indirectly affect Cabo. Right now is looks the the depression is near t.s. status. A line of storms continues from the circulation to south of Cabo to near Puerto Vallerta.

Saturday Evening Update

T.D. 14 is now Juliette. Visible satellite imagery shows a minimal tropical storm which only has deep convection on the southwest side at this time.
Look for some slow strengthening and the storm staying west of Cabo.

Sunday Morning Update

Juliette has not changed much since last evening. It remains a minimal tropical storm as it moves northwest. There have been a few convective bursts near the center, but they are very limited in areal coverage. Cabo may see a few showers and storms but that's about it.

Sunday Afternoon Update

Juliette continues to move northwest parallel to Baja California. Some showers and storms indirectly associated with Juliette are effecting the southern Baja. Don't look for much more from this one.

Sunday Night Update

Juliette is still moving northwest and not showing signs of weakening yet. It is still holding onto convection near the center of circulation. Weakening should set in soon as it moves over cooler water. Again, only indirect effects will be seen in the southern Baja scattered showers and storms.

Monday Midday Update

Juliette is still a tropical storm and is about at the latitude of Cabo. Heavy convection is still wrapped around the center of circuation as the storm parallels the Baja. Juliette will start to lose strength as it moves over cooler water in the next 24-36 hours.

Monday Evening Update

Juliette will probably not make it through the night as a tropical storm. It will likely be downgraded to depression status soon. The deep convection is just on the north side of the center now. It actually has turned out to be quite a nice day in the southern Baja.

Tuesday Early AM Update

Juliette is now a low west of Baja without any convection. NHC has written its last advisory. Some enhanced rainfall can be expected in the U.S. desert southwest from Juliette's moisture. This will also be our last advisory.
