Hurricane Flossie will move south of the big island today. Upper air winds continue to take its toll, and the eye is becoming more ragged.
Tropical storm warnings and hurricane watches contuine for the big island.
The main impact will be high surf to the southeast facing beaches (15-20 ft) and beneficial rainfall. (Hawaii is in a drought) Power could be disrupted on the southern part of the big island if some of the gusts exceed 50 mph.
